CREST.BD’s Tapestry Hub

The Collaborative RESearch Team to study psychosocial issues in Bipolar Disorder (CREST.BD) is a multidisciplinary collaborative network that values the expertise of researchers, people living with bipolar disorder, family members and supporters, healthcare providers and trainees among other stakeholders.

CREST.BD’s Tapestry hub is a repository for resources and information from collaborative research and knowledge exchange about living well with bipolar disorder. As a network, CREST.BD is dedicated to optimizing the health and quality of life of people living with bipolar disorder.

About Tapestry

Resources in this hub are presented using the Tapestry Tool – an open-source, online learning platform allowing users to make visual connections between diverse forms of interactive, associative and multi-modal content.

The name ‘Tapestry’ is inspired from story quilts — an art form used by cultures around the world to tell stories, often using images, sound, scents and textures. In a similar way, a digital tapestry is just like a story quilt that contains multiple, interconnected media types that can be generated collaboratively to tell a story or convey knowledge.
